Although the cost of producing the Chronicle are rising, postage, printing, paper, etc, and advertising dollars seem to be tighter than usual, we have decided that we will not be increasing our advertising rates for 2009. Our advertisers have been loyal to us for several years, and we know that they do not have to be. Although we deliver to a select target of highly desirable readers, our advertisers have numerous choices of media in which to market their products and services. They have chosen us, and we appreciate them enough to do our part to help them in however small a way we can during these difficult economic times. I want to make sure our readers know exactly what we as a community business publication stand for…Pro Business, Pro Jackson…all the time.
